Aretha Franklin to sing with the CSO

Singing legend Aretha Franklin will perform the annual Corporate Night concert with members of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra at 7:30 p.m. May 20 in Symphony Center. Known around the world as the Queen of Soul, Franklin will join with musical director Fred Nelson III to present the 24th in a series of CSO fundraising events benefiting the orchestra's general operations and community engagement-music education programs.

Corporations may participate as sponsors or purchase tables for the evening, which will include a pre-concert dinner and concert tickets. Concert-only tickets are available to the public at $75-$175. Concert goers also may purchase tickets for a post-concert party, with food, drinks and live music, at $100.
