Chicagoans will get their first glimpse of “American Idol’s” brand new judges panel when the Fox singing competition visits the Adler Planetarium for auditions Tuesday and Wedneday.

Host Ryan Seacrest and judges Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, Keith Urban and Randy Jackson will all be on hand for the auditions, which are ONLY for applicants who tried out at the United Center in July and were asked to come back. Applicants who make it past this round will next audition in Hollywood.

The 12th season of “Idol” premieres in January.
