Connecting with family
Anneliese Scherfen, 26, of Chicago, cries as she talks to her mother in New York via cell phone while standing on Michigan Avenue Tuesday morning. Scherfen said that although her relatives in New York were all safe, she was worried about some friends who work on Wall Street,which is near the site of the World Trade Center towers in the city's Financial District.
