An Evanston man was charged with shooting another man at a Loop hotel last month, according to Chicago police.
Brian Miller is accused of shooting the 25-year-old during a party on the 22nd floor of the Palmer House hotel at 17 E. Monroe Street.
Police said a previous arrest report identified Miller as a gang member and said the victim in the shooting picked him out of a photo array. He was charged with aggravated battery with a firearm.
The man shot was treated for his wound at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and was listed in good condition at the time of the shooting. He was one of at least seven people wounded that night.
