A Chicago man was arrested after police were called to a Pilsen home Saturday evening for a domestic disturbance and discovered several weapons, including three assault rifles and a machine pistol with a silencer.
Jeremy Lydon, 43, of the 2100 block of South Halsted Street, is facing several weapons charges, including one for having the silencer, police said. He also was charged with possessing 90 grams of cannabis, police said.
He was arrested about 9:30 p.m. Saturday after police responded to the domestic disturbance in which he was allegedly threatening his girlfriend with a gun inside the home.
Police said they searched the home and found several weapons, including a MAC-10 with a silencer, one shotgun, six handguns, one AR assault rifle, and two AK-47 assault rifles, and numerous magazines.
