A 25-year-old man was stabbed during an argument with his girlfriend in the South Side's Grand Crossing neighborhood Sunday night, police said.

About 10:50 p.m., the man's girlfriend stabbed him in the chest as they argued inside an apartment in the 7400 block of South Kimbark Avenue, police said.

The man was rushed to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition.

The woman believed to have stabbed him fled after the argument and has not been taken into custody, police said. The man has not been cooperating fully with authorities, the source said.
