One man was killed and two people were injured when two semis collided on Interstate 80 at Houbolt Road, police said.
State police said a truck-tractor was pulling a trailer on the ramp from Houbolt Road west onto I-80 when it was struck by another truck that was traveling west on I-80.
One of the people inside one of the trucks died. Two others were treated and released.
The left and right lane of I-80 westbound remained closed at Houbolt Road as of 8:30 a.m. for investigation and cleanup, police said. Police estimate that all lanes will reopen by about 9:30 a.m., police said.
Authorities diverted all westbound traffic on the interstate at Larkin Avenue, according to State Police Sgt. R.A. Caves said.
