An Elmhurst man has been arrested for selling marijuana and cannabis-laced candy, police said Friday.
After what police described as an ongoing investigation, authorities charged Brandon J. Biggs, 23, of the 200 block of West Kimbell Avenue with possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, possession of cannabis/candy with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Biggs was suspected of selling drugs, including the candy laced with cannabis, around the Elmhurst area, police said in a news release.
Police say they executed a search warrant at Biggs' address and recovered 730 grams of marijuana and 1,052 grams of candy laced with cannabis, a combined total of almost 4 pounds, along with various paraphernalia.
Biggs was taken to the DuPage County jail to await an appearance in bond court, police said.
