Owen Wilson has a new little intern to keep track of: The actor now has a second child.
Wilson, 45, and Caroline Lindqvist, welcomed their new baby boy on Thursday, his rep told People.
"I can confirm they had a baby boy on Thursday morning," the "Cars 2" actor's rep said in a statement.
The floppy-haired actor, whose next projects include "A Night At the Museum 3" and the crime drama "Inherent Vice," is already father to Ford, 2, his son with ex-girlfriend Jane Duell. The couple reportedly called it quits five months after Ford was born but Wilson still remains actively involved in his first son's life, even bringing him along to play with costar Vince Vaughn's kids on the set of "The Internship."
This is the first child for Lindqvist, a Swedish personal trainer, whose pregnancy news broke last October.
The pair is not living together and Lindqvist reportedly told Swedish publication Klick! that she and Wilson had never been in a committed relationship but both wanted to have a baby so they decided to do it together, according to the Daily Mail.
"Owen and I decided to have a child even though we're not in a relationship. And we're not planning on starting a relationship, either," she said, adding, "Owen and I are two close friends having a baby together. We are really looking forward to it and can't wait to welcome our child at the end of January."
Lindqvist also shut down rumors that Wilson had been one of her clients and that she met him in 2003, when he is said to have hired her as his personal trainer. Rather, they met in 2007 after he split with his then-girlfriend Kate Hudson, Lindqvist said.
A source told People that the actor would be quite involved with the pregnancy, going to doctor's appointments and making sure Lindqvist was "doing well."
"Owen plans to be involved with the baby and help raise him," another source told Us Weekly.
No further details were available about Wilson's latest addition but here's hoping they give him another automobile-inspired name.
