Vik Sahay joins 'Chuck' panel at Nerd HQ

Good news, "Chuck" fans: Vik Sahay, aka Lester Patel, now will be part of the "Chuck" reunion panel at Zachary Levi's Nerd HQ Thursday outside San Diego Comic Con International.

But there's bad news, too: Tickets have sold out for the panel featuring Sahay, Levi, Adam Baldwin, Mark Christopher Lawrence, Mekenna Melvin and Yvonne Strahovski.

But there's still hope for Chucksters. As part of Warner Bros. special Extra at Comic Con festival, fans and special surprise guests (I'm going to guess some former "Chuck" cast members) will be doing a table read of a "Chuck" episode at 5 p.m. Thursday at the festival, which will be at Bayfront Park between the San Diego Convention Center and the Hilton San Diego Bayfront hotel.

And you never know. Maybe some former "Chuck" cast members will be hanging around Nerd HQ during its operating hours between 9 a.m.-2 a.m. Thursday through Sunday.

Check out the Nerd HQ events at the Nerd Machine website. Tickets for other panels still are available. All proceeds will benefit Operation Smile. While you're at Nerd HQ, check out the first playable demo of the new "Tomb Raider" video game. It's exclusive to Nerd HQ.

Check out the Extra festival at the WB's Comic Con site. It runs Thursday through Sunday as well.
