Fox's year-long social experiment/reality series "Utopia" is coming soon.

Any Chicagoans fed up with the way they're living these days, or how society works in general, have a chance to create a brave new world—if they make it through auditions for Fox's "Utopia" reality series.

Casting producers for "Utopia" will be in Chicago April 25-27 at the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo as part of their search for motivated and adventurous people who possess the passion and determination to create and build a whole new society. Based on a Dutch series, the reality show follows 15 pioneers for a year as they make laws, build a civilization and learn how to coexist on their own.

You have to be at a legal U.S. citizen or permanent U.S. resident, at least 21 years of age (as of March 24, 2014), and willing to spend a full year away from home and with complete strangers. Plan on expressing your ideals, beliefs, skill sets and vision for the new society during the audition.

Here's the schedule for auditions at c2e2, taking place in the South Building at McCormick Place, 2301 S Lake Shore Drive:

Friday, April 25
11 a.m.–7 p.m.

Saturday, April 26
