Ads for this week-old sitcom about a "princess" and a "hot mess" living together in New York mentions the CBS sitcom "2 Broke Girls." It's easy to understand why. (You can find Bounce in Chicago on RCN and Comcast cable services.)

The Carrie Diaries

Pre-"Sex and the City" Carrie meets pre-"Sex and the City" Samantha Jones (Lindsey Gort) as the "Sex and the City" prequel begins its second season.

Nick is a zombie! Our hero goes on a violent bender in the first of a two-part season opener that moves as slowly as a zombie shuffles.

Strike Back: Origins

Cinemax's popular action drama "Strike Back" started out as a British show that starred Richard Armitage and Andrew Lincoln. Cinemax has repurposed that six-episode season as a prequel to its three seasons of the very different series.

The Good Witch's Destiny

Catherine Bell rides the broomstick once again as sweet witch Cassie Nightingale in the latest of the made-for-TV movie series. You can make it a day of magic: A marathon of the previous five films begins at 10 a.m.

The Spartacus Saga Uncut
9:05 p.m. Saturday, Starz
Fans of the bloody good drama "Spartacus" can rewatch the entire series from the beginning. Every Saturday, Starz will show three episodes, with star Liam McIntyre offering insights into each of the episodes from "Blood and Sand," "Gods of the Arena," "Vengeance" and "War of the Damned."

My favorite Doctor, David Tennant, gets his half-hour special as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of "Doctor Who." The special is followed by the Tenth Doctor two-parter "The Stolen Earth" and "Journey's End."

American Blackout
8 p.m. Sunday, Nat Geo
What would happen if a cyber attack knocked out power across the entire U.S. for a week or more? Danger, if this disturbing film that mixes real home footage from recent blackouts with fictional drama. Nat Geo says all the info given is fact-based, but if I didn't know any better, I'd say one of the network's "Doomsday Preppers" wrote the script.

Secrets of the Tower of London
7 p.m. Sunday, PBS
These days it houses the crown jewels, but the Tower of London has been many things since being erected nearly 1,000 years ago: a royal castle, a prison, a place of execution and torture, an armory and the Royal Mint.
