AMC has released another new teaser for its upcoming spy series "Turn" that introduces members of the first American spy ring.

Based on Alexander Roses's book "Washington’s Spies," "Turn" presents the birth of The Culper Ring, a group of rebels that helped to turn the tide against the British during the Revolutionary War. The 90-minute premiere of the series, from "Nikita" showrunner Craig Silverstein, begins the fascinating story of these real-life rebels we meet in the new teaser:
  • The agent: Abraham Woodhull (Jamie Bell), a farmer living behind enemy lines in British-occupied Long Island who is reluctant to act against the British forces;
  • The handler: Ben Talmadge (Seth Numrich), an officer in Washington's Army who recruits his old friend Woodhull to spy on the Redcoats;
  • The signal: Anna Strong (Heather Lind), a former love of Woodhull's who runs an inn taken over by the British;
  • The courier: Caleb (Daniel Henshall), another childhood friend of Woodhull's working with Talmadge.

"Turn" premieres at 8 p.m. April 6 on AMC. It's up against the Season 4 premiere of HBO's "Game of Thrones," but it's also a must-see, so set those DVRs.
