'Strike Back' ends its 1st Cinemax season on high note

The first season--on Cinemax anyway--of "Strike Back" concludes at 9 p.m. Oct. 21 with Section 20 desperately trying to stop Latif's plan to disrupt a summit of world leaders in Budapest. In custody, Latif locks in a battle of wills with Col. Grant, hinting that the summit may not be his end game after all. "Strike Back" has lived up to the promise of non-stop action that has kept me on the edge of my seat during its 10 episodes. But it's also made me think about the men and women who really do this counter-espionage work and the danger into which they constantly rush. The finale (3.5 stars) brings the season to a deadly, shocking end. You don't want to miss this, folks.
