With the Season 5 premiere of "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" just a few days away, Cartoon Network and Lucasfilm Animation have released another clip from the season that's bursting with "Star Wars" mythology.

In the clip, Darth Maul (voiced by Sam Witwer), Savage Opress (Clancy Brown), Mandalorian Pre Vizsla (Jon Favreau) and the Death Watch meet up with the leaders of the criminal organization Black Sun on the planet Mustafar.

Black Sun made its first appearance in the 1996 "Star Wars" novel "Shadows of the Empire," while Mustafar is the planet where Obi-wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker had their final duel in "Star Wars: Episode III, Revenge of the Sith." "Clone Wars" leads up to the action in "Revenge of the Sith."

The Season 5 premiere, titled "Revival," debuts in the show's new Saturday spot at 8:30 a.m. CT Sept. 29 on Cartoon Network. Here's what the network said about the premiere: "Darth Maul and Savage Opress are reunited and brimming with rage. They bring terror across the galaxy, invading other worlds and forcibly recruiting Hondo and his pirates into their army. Brave Jedi confront the brothers in an effort to stop them and must fight for their lives while vying to save the Republic."
