Looks like "South Park" creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are taking aim at disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong.
A teaser clip for "A Scause for Applause," airing at 9 p.m. CT Oct. 31 on Comedy Central, shows Cartman and other town residents getting yellow wristbands removed while they express disappointment and disillusion about something. "I can't believe we all got duped," Cartman says. "I feel like such a tool."
Clyde Donovan yells "lying jerk," and school counselor Mr. Mackey sobs as his bracelet is removed, saying, "I don't know what to believe in anymore."
Armstrong isn't mentioned, but the wristbands bring to mind the yellow wristbands he used to promote his charity Livestrong. He was stripped of his seven Tour de France and other titles and banned from the sport for life earlier this month for doping. Armstrong, 41, always has denied he took performance enhancing drugs.
"Rocked by the recent news of drug use by a beloved icon, the world is left feeling lost and betrayed," Comedy Central's press release says. "The boys join with the rest of the nation and remove their yellow wristbands. Everyone is on board, except for Stan, who just can't seem to cut off his bracelet."
