After a few days of online rumors, Second City announced Monday that Chicago alumni Aidy Bryant and Tim Robinson have joined the cast of "Saturday Night Live" for the 38th season, which premieres Saturday with host Seth MacFarlane and musical guest Frank Ocean.

Bryant, a Columbia College Chicago graduate, has performed in The Second City e.t.c.'s "We're All in This Room Together" and the Jeff Award-winning "Sky's the Limit: Weather Permitting," as well as in productions at The Annoyance Theatre and iO. She has also contributed to videos for the Lyric Opera of Chicago and web sketches like "Entreprenerds," show above.

Robinson wrote and performed in Second City Mainstage productions "Spoiler Alert: Everybody Dies" and "South Side of Heaven" and performed weekly at iO as part of the Cook County Social Club improv group. His two-man video sketches were featured in a live show at Just for Laughs Chicago and considered for a Comedy Central pilot, "My Mans," which was not picked up. Robinson was also recently cast in the CBS sitcom "Friend Me" with Christopher Mintz-Plasse.

Also joining the cast is Second City Touring Company alumna Cecily Strong, who is an Oak Park native.
