Bears tailgate party in 'Shameless' Season 4 premiere

Showtime's "Shameless" filmed a Chicago tailgate party and a flash mob in November, and both scenes appear in the Season 4 premiere.

You can watch the premiere, which debuts at 8 p.m. Jan. 12 on TV, online right now. The episode begins shortly after the Season 3 finale with the Gallagher clan spread far and wide. Fiona (Emmy Rossum) and the younger kids are still at home, but Lip (Jeremy Allen White) is at college and no one has heard from Ian (Cameron Monaghan) or Frank (William H. Macy) in awhile. With Steve (Justin Chatwin) out of the picture, Fiona is dating her boss, Mike Pratt (Jake McDorman).

The production shot exterior scenes for in Chicago several episodes of the new season during the week of Nov. 11-15. A casting call requested extras for a Chicago Bears tailgate party shot at Soldier Field, and a college flash mob scene that was filmed at the University of Illinois-Chicago campus.

In the Bears scene, Fiona attends the tailgate party with Mike and his family. The flash mob features Lip sitting in a bustling courtyard when cell phones begin ringing and suddenly the entire student body stops moving.

The episode is censored online, as my colleague Mick Swasko pointed out. So you'll have to tune in Sunday to see all of Fiona.
