DirecTV will debut its new series, "Rogue," on April 3, but some Chicago viewers get a chance to see it early.
The network is hosting a preview screening of the two-hour series premiere at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, at the Kerasotes Showplace Icon, 150 W. Roosevelt, followed by an audience Q&A with two of the show's stars, Leah Gibson and Joshua Sasse. The Q&A will be led by yours truly (that's me!).
But you can't just show up at the theater. If you want in, you need to go to gofobo.com/rsvp and enter the RSVP code CODERZUU for tickets. It's first-come, first-served, so do it soon and arrive early.
"Rogue" also stars Thandie Newton, Marton Csokas, Matthew Beard. It revolves around Grace (Newton), a morally and emotionally-conflicted undercover detective who is tormented by the possibility that her own actions contributed to her son's mysterious death. In her quest for the truth, Grace finds herself striking out on her own and falling deeper into the city's most powerful and dangerous crime family, lead by crime boss Jimmy Laszlo (Csokas) and his sons Alec (Sasse) and Max (Beard), and Alec's wife Cathy (Gibson). As Grace struggles to become the wife and mother her family now needs, her life is further complicated by her relationship with Jimmy and his family. Meanwhile, the answers everyone is looking for threaten to destroy them all.
"Rogue" premieres at 8 p.m. CT April 3 on DirecTV's Audience Network. Below are video clips featuring Gibson and Sasse, the two actors attending Tuesday's screening.
