"Nikita" will put away her weapons and burn her fake passports by the end of the year. The CW on Friday announced the drama's final, six-episode Season 4 will begin at 8 p.m. CT Nov. 22, airing over six consecutive weeks.
No, it's not a great holiday gift that it'll be the last season, but at least the network is giving Craig Silverstein and his cast the chance to close the series the way they want to—and thus give fans a proper goodbye.
When last we saw the spy, she was on the run after being framed for the assassination of the president. Nikita (Maggie Q) wasn't just running from the government and law enforcement, she left Michael (Shane West), Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca) and Birkhoff (Aaron Stanford) in order to protect them.
As the new season begins, Nikita follows up a lead that could clear her name, but unexpectedly finds herself reunited with her friends. The tram has to get past emotional wounds in order to take down Amanda (Melinda Clarke). Oh yes, Amanda is still causing trouble.
Soon they discover the plot to frame Nikita is part of a much larger conspiracy—what else could it be on this show?—one that could lead to global catastrophe.
Still at the helm for these final episodes are executive producers Craig Silverstein, David Levinson, McG, Peter Johnson, Danny Cannon and Carlos Coto.
Are you ready for the end of "Nikita?" Who will tune in Nov. 22?
