It's been awhile since anyone in Chicago has had a reason to dance in the Bears' end zone, but on June 5 USA Network will be checking out your moves as part of the "Necessary Roughness" Show Us Your End Zone Dance Competition.
Participants must perform their best end zone dance moves for a chance to win $25,000. The six finalists chosen by USA Network's judges will have their end-zone dances featured in a promo spot airing on USA in July, and one winner will dance away with a grand prize of $25,000.
Between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Tuesday, USA will transform part of Pioneer Court (401 N. Michigan Ave. at Chicago Tribune Tower) into an urban football oasis complete with an authentic turf end zone. Football fans, dance enthusiasts and fans of the network's "Necessary Roughness" can strut their stuff while a DJ spins songs. A jumbotron and bleacher seating will enable participants and passersby to watch the competition and see a sneak peek of Season 2 of "Necessary Roughness," which debuts at 9 p.m. June 6.
USA will offer giveaways and branded goodies, including custom jerseys for every end zone dancer, mini footballs, custom foam fingers and an Instaprint photo station. Matt Abbatacola (670 The Score), Chris Rongey (670 The Score) and Dance USA members will be on hand.Copyright © 2015, RedEye
