Ellen DeGeneres helps "Fargo" actress Kate Walsh gain more Twitter followers on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," airing at 3 p.m. Tuesday on NBC-Ch. 5 in Chicago.

Some people will do anything to gain Twitter followers.

Actress Kate Walsh took her quest to the pole Tuesday on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." Walsh, who plays an ex-stripper in FX's new drama "Fargo," did a pole dance as DeGeneres threw dollar bills, silly string and other things at her.

It was actually DeGeneres's idea. Walsh
recently reached 500,000 Twitter followers and posted a video of her doing a high kick as a thank you. DeGeneres, who has 28.5 million Tweeps, said she could do better.

Watch the video above, and tune in at 3 p.m. Tuesday on NBC-Ch. 5 in Chicago for the full show. "Fargo" premieres at 9 p.m. Tuesday on FX.

Oh, and Walsh's Twitter handle is @KateWalsh.
