Detective Hercule Poirot returns this July with the first of five new mysteries, headlining a month of TV that includes the premieres of "The Strain," "Matador," "Extant" and many more new shows.

After 25 years, David Suchet completes the feat of playing Agatha Christie's famous Belgian detective in adaptations of all 70 of her Poirot mysteries. "The Big Four" kicks off the run July 27 on PBS' "Masterpiece Mystery" and July 28 on Acorn.TV. Watch for the final four movies in August, but watch the trailer here.

Other July TV includes the premieres of new shows "Welcome to Sweden," "The Hotwives of Orlando," "The Honorable Woman" and "Manhattan," as well as returning series "Witches of East End," "Hemlock Grove" and "The Bridge."
