There's just a handful of sitcoms returning to TV this fall that I can't wait to start, and NBC's "Community" is one of them. The writing is smart and has a lot of heart. The jokes--delivered by cast members with loads of comedic chemistry--are hilarious.
Added bonus this season: John Goodman returns to series comedy (for at least six episodes)! Second added bonus: The Greendale Community College gang does a musical numbah!
Goodman will play a vice dean of Greendale's prestigious school of air-conditioning repair who happens to have a scary deep voice. Meanwhile, Dean Pelton is sporting a stylish goatee along with his chrome dome. And did I mention the singing and dancing?
OK, school starts at 7 p.m. Sept. 22. Don't skip class, you wouldn't want Goodman anywhere near your rectum, as he says in the clip below.
