Private spy Sam Hunter faces two very different kinds of danger in "LB," the second episode of Cinemax's espionage thriller "Hunted." Now that Sam (Melissa George) is back working for the security firm Byzantium, she's been assigned to infiltrate the inner circle of London millionaire Jack Turner (Patrick Malahide), who is bidding for a multi-billion dollar dam in Pakistan. Despite not knowing who their client is, the Byzantium team must learn Turner's true motives. Sam has been brought into the house by Turner's son, Stephen (Stephen Campbell Moore), to tutor his son, Edward (Oscar Kennedy). Sam and the team continue surveillance of Jack Turner's secret activities, which includes finding out what they can about a visitor to the house, a man identifying himself as a scientist named Dr. Gobel (Scott Handy). When the scientist leaves a briefcase with Turner, Sam's co-workers Zoe Morgan (Morven Christie) and Ian Fowkes (Lex Shrapnel) attempt to learn exactly what was inside it. Meanwhile, this "Gobel" tries to drug Sam, who also battles a burly stranger in the streets of London. "LB," written by Frank Spotnitz and directed by SJ Clarkson, debuts at 9 p.m. Oct. 26 on Cinemax. Check out the sneak peeks and episode photos below. And by the way, doesn't Rex Shrapnel have the perfect name for an actor playing a guy who uses guns? What do you think of "Hunted" so far? Please leave me your comments.
