HBO looks back at 2013 and forward to 2014 in this year-end video for viewers.

HBO gives fans a little peak at what's coming to the cable network in 2014 in its annual year-end video, including a first look at the new season of "Game of Thrones" and several new series.

We see Tyrion in shackles, Joffrey watching a celebration, Jaime Lannister flipping through a book, Sansa smiling and someone on horseback riding toward a group of people in front of a cliff. It's a nice little tease for fans that begins at the 1:36 mark. The fourth season of "GoT" begins in the spring.

I'm not sure what it all means, but if you want to know more and don't mind mild spoilers for the season, check out Zap2It's story by clicking the link in the Related Items field to the left.

The video also shows shots from new series, including "The Leftovers," "True Detective," "Looking," "Silicone Valley" and "John Oliver." The upcoming movie "The Normal Heart," the miniseries "Oliver Kitteridge" and flashes from HBO documentaries and specials.

Other returning shows we are reminded of include "Girls," "Veep," "True Blood," "Boardwalk Empire," "Vice" and "Real Time with Bill Maher."

I'll be attending HBO's session at the annual Winter tour of the Television Critics Association in January, so I will have more information on the new series soon.
