Emmy predictions 2011: This is never easy
I'm almost never correct when predicting who will win in the annual Emmy race, which airs at 7 p.m. Sept. 18 on Fox. Most years my favorite performances don't even get nominated. (Click here for my Emmy snubs list.) Still, I'm going to give it my all, once again, and likely be called an idiot come Sunday night. Below are the nominees in major categories, who I want to win and who I think actually will take an Emmy home. What do you think? Please leave a comment.

Outstanding drama series
Nominees: "Mad Men," "Dexter," "The Good Wife," "Game of Thrones," "Friday Night Lights," "Boardwalk Empire"
Of the few people who have watched "Mad Men," I'm probably one of the few who doesn't like it. I think it's cold and a bit pretentious. That being said, this is a pretty good list, even if "Justified" and "Sons of Anarchy" didn't make it. It's a tough choice for me to make between the daring "Game of Thrones" or the final season and always-worthy "Friday Night Lights." (And "Boardwalk Empire," for that matter.) My favorite:"Game of Thrones" or "Friday Night Lights" Who will win: "Mad Men" Curt Wagner, RedEye's Show Patrol |
