The Oscars pizza delivery guy finally got his tip Monday.
Ellen DeGeneres handed Edgar Martirosyan $1,000 during her chat show. About $600 of that, she said, was the cash she collected from celebrity audience members at the 86th Academy Awards ceremony Sunday when she brought Martirosyan on stage with his pizzas.
Martirosyan, who owns Big Mama's and Papa's Pizzeria in Hollywood with his brother, recalled being told that he was delivering the pies to producers and writers during the ceremony.
"And you came out," he said. "You said, 'Just follow me,' and I'm going then I'm on a stage … I was shocked. It was really crazy."
The Oscars host led Martirosyan through the crowd, asking him to hand slices around to the stars that included Julia Roberts, one of his favorites.
"She was my like, uh, like the woman in dreams I'll say," he said. "I was always watching her movies back in Moscow."
DeGeneres tipped Martirosyan, then bought her entire studio audience pizza from Big Mama's and Papa's Pizzeria.
Oscar winner Jared Leto also appeared on DeGeneres' show, and told a story about Harrison Ford's messy accident with his slice of pizza. Watch that video below.
