BBC One on Saturday aired a trailer that teases the upcoming "Doctor Who" 50th anniversary special, "The Day of the Doctor."
The trailer doesn't actually show any footage from the 75-minute episode, but it celebrates 50 years of the Doctor by presenting all 11 Doctors, including the first, William Hartnell, who is seen in full color for the first time. The network also released an exclusive image of the 11 Doctors.
"I've been running all my lives through time and space, every second of every minute of every day for over 500 years," the current Doctor (Matt Smith) narrates. "I fought for peace in a universe at war. Now the time has come to face the choices I've made in the name of the Doctor.
"Our future depends on one single moment of one impossible day, the day I've been running from all my life, the day of the Doctor."
It shows his companion, Clara (Jenna-Louise Coleman), as well as some iconic "Who" characters such as Sarah Jane Smith and K-9 the robot dog and the Ood. We see classic villains, too, from Daleks to Cybermen.
Smith and Coleman, 10th Doctor David Tennant, Billie Piper and John Hurt, who plays someone being called the dark Doctor, star in "The Day of the Doctor."
It airs at 8 p.m. CT Nov. 23 on BBC America.
