'Doctor Who' Season 8 trailer goes into darkness

The Twelfth Doctor isn't messing about.

"I've lived for over 2,000 years. I've made many mistakes," says new Doctor Peter Capaldi in the full-length Season 8 "Doctor Who" trailer. "It's about time that I did something about that."

Sounds like his past and future are weighing heavily on the Time Lord's conscience. When Clara (Jenna Coleman) asks where they are going in the TARDIS, he replies, "Into darkness."

Based on the clip, that darkness includes Daleks, Cybermen and loads of action. Check out the trailer. Will you be watching the movie-length Season 8 premiere at 7 p.m. Aug. 23 on BBC America?
