In the latest promo for "Cougar Town," Courteney Cox and the rest of the cast do something their characters would never, ever, ever do. They spill wine. Strike that, they toss wine all over each others' fancy white clothes.
It's all done with the classic Eric Burdon and War tune, "Spill the Wine," blaring in the background. But I think Jules Cobb and the cul-de-sac crew would rather DRINK the wine, right?
The former ABC fan-favorite will launch its fourth season on cable channel TBS at 9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8.
Cox plays Jules Cobb, a recently remarried mom who is never far from her friends or her wine. The cul-de-sac crew includes her Jules' 21-year-old son, Travis (Dan Byrd); her under-achieving ex-husband, Bobby (Brian Van Holt); her next-door neighbors Ellie (Christa Miller) and Andy (Ian Gomez); Jules' neighbor-turned-hubby Grayson (Josh Hopkins), and Jules' workmate Laurie (Busy Philipps).
"Cougar Town" was co-created by executive producer Bill Lawrence and consulting producer Kevin Biegel. Ric Swartzlander joins the show as executive producer and showrunner for Season 4. Courteney Cox and David Arquette also serve as exec producers.
