Sneak peeks for CBS' new Fall 2012 series

One thing you can count on with CBS: It will never deliver groundbreaking new TV series. But then, the network's been at the top of the heap for so long, churning out procedural after procedural (and non-challenging comedies), that we shouldn't expect it to mess with that success. Middle America seems to love CBS shows, giving the network top ratings for something like nine years running. Yet as Jimmy Kimmel said during ABC's Upfront presentation on Tuesday, "When have you ever heard someone say, 'Hey man, did you see what happened on "NCIS" last night!'" I think he said "NCIS," but you could pretty much plug in any CBS show. ("The Good Wife" being the one exception in my book.) But I digress. Here's a look at the six new scripted series CBS has picked up for the 2012-13 season, and how many episodes I'll watch before deciding whether to keep it on my DVR. And now I have video sneaks for some of the shows. For CBS's fall schedule, click CBS Fall 2012 TV schedule. Curt Wagner, RedEye's Show Patrol
