Richard J. Daley photo inspires latest 'Boss' promo image

The latest promo image from the Starz drama "Boss" was inspired by a photo of the original boss of Chicago, Mayor Richard J. Daley, taken in 1966 by the Chicago Tribune (below). Daley seems to be presiding over the changing Chicago skyline. The photo was one of Daley's favorites. In the Starz photo, taken be Chuck Hodes, fictional Chicago Mayor Tom Kane (Kelsey Grammer) strikes a similar pose as he looks over his kingdom. As you can see, many more buildings have arisen since 1966, including Trump Tower. Season 2 of "Boss" premieres at 8 p.m. Aug. 17 on Starz.
