In its seventh season, "America's Got Talent" went to the dogs, literally, when Olate Dogs, the dog act led by Richard Olate and his son Nicholas, won the competition.
That pretty much shows you that any act has a chance in NBC's competition series. So if you think you have a talent to beat all comers, consider heading to the open casting call Jan. 26 and 27 at McCormick Place, 2301 S. Lake Shore Drive.
"Every type of performer is welcome--musicians, dance crews, magicians, contortionists, comedians, singers, jugglers, animal acts and everything in between," NBC said in a press release.
The contest is open to people, and animals, of any age or talent. You just have to wow the series' producers with talents within 90 seconds in the hopes of being able to take the stage in front of the judges.
If you go all the way like Olate Dogs did, you'll win $1 million in Season 8 of the show this summer.
