Fox reveals London terror in '24: Live Another Day' teasers

Fox got "24" fans fired up for the return of Jack Bauer with a series of spots on Super Bowl Sunday.

Kiefer Sutherland reprises his role as super spy Jack Bauer in the 12-episode event series debuting May 5 on Fox. The original show ended in May 2010 after eight seasons.

The new teasers hint at a terror attack in London, where the new season is set. Bauer is fugitive being tracked by the CIA, including team leader Steve Harris (Benjamin Bratt), agent Kate Morgan (Yvonne Strahovski), computer tech Jordan Reed (Giles Matthey) and field operative Erick Ritter (Gbenga Akinnagbe).

Most of the teasers focus on very specific aspects of a terror attack: breaking glass, a smoke cloud rising in the air and someone cocking a pistol. Watch those below.

The longer teaser above shows Bauer helping his old friend and tech whiz Chloe O'Brian (Mary Lynn Rajskub) through the wreckage of a terror attack. O'Brian reportedly begins the season opposing Bauer, as she is working for the free information movement and possibly with an infamous hacker called Adrian (Michael Wincott).

Former cast member Kim Raver returns as Audrey Raines and William Devane as James Heller.

Fox will air the two-hour premiere of "24: Live Another Day" at 7 p.m. May 5 before moving it into its regular time period at 8 p.m. May 12.
