Welcome to spring, Chicago. Per usual, you wouldn't know it from the looks of the weather outside. To bide our time until this endless winter finally comes to a close, we're retreating to these windowless cocktail lounges to sink into a spirit-fueled state of denial. A tropical vacation seems so out of reach...but we have just the ticket. Just head through the alley behind Bub City, down the stairs guarded by blue-lit skulls, and enter the colorful, tropical world of tiki. The theme borders on campy, but the drinks (prepared by the celebrated Paul McGee) are some of the best in the city.
