If you missed your chance to be one of the 700 attendees at Chicago's first bloody mary festival in June, you're in luck.
Chicago's Bloody Mary Competition will return for a second installment on Sunday, Sept. 14, again at Park West in Lincoln Park. Tickets go on sale Friday, Aug. 1 at 10 a.m.
Audience members voted Uptown bar Fat Cat the winner of the first festival, which beat out the bloody marys from 14 other competitors including Longman & Eagle, Paramount Room, Headquarters Beercade and Three Aces. The second event will welcome new bars and restaurants and also seeks audience nominations via email@example.com.
Included in the $35 ticket price are 2-ounce samples of all the bloody marys, plus passed food and live music.
