Deconstructing the (departed) menu

D.B. Kaplan's. In honor of Halloween, we crack open the crypt to dig up the menu of a dearly departed restaurant. Set the WABAC machine to the early 1990s for a look at D.B. Kaplan's, a legendary Chicago delicatessen that marked the birth of Levy Restaurants. Located in Water Tower Place, the lively DBK offered more than 100 sandwich creations, all bearing groan-worthy, punny names. It was a more-innocent, sillier and arguably more fun time for restaurants. Now in restaurant heaven.
