Following their show at the United Center Thursday, Coldplay band members Chris Martin, Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland and Will Champion hit 10pin Bowling Lounge for food, drinks and, of course, bowling.

I'm told the band members requested anonymity when making the reservation and managed to go under the radar in a quiet section of 10pin during their visit. Afterward, Martin and his bandmates signed a pin and wrote "Thank you very much. We had a great time."

Cheerio: Robin Thicke and Karmin performed at Macy’s British-themed Glamorama fashion show — which benefited Ronald McDonald House Charities and included a double-decker bus set piece, male models dressed as Foot Guards and songs by The Beatles and Rolling Stones — Friday at the Harris Theater in Millennium Park. Thicke, who is American and not British, recently served as a mentor on the ABC singing competition “Duets.” He told me in April he joined the show for the mainstream exposure seeing how pop radio stations don’t play his soul music. Did it work?

“There’s been a profile boost,” Thicke said at Harris Theater. “I notice it when I’m walking through an airport or at dinner. Those fans didn’t necessarily buy the album, but they were huge fans of the show. Now I just have to deliver a new album that hopefully connects those dots.”

Good luck: Roosevelt University student and Loyola Academy alum Aylin Bayramoglu is one of three remaining finalists on Oxygen’s “The Glee Project” competing for a seven-episode arc on the upcoming season of Fox’s “Glee.” Francis W. Parker School alum Michael Weisman, on the other hand, was eliminated during last week’s episode. The winner will be named during Tuesday’s season finale.

On the record: "I want to wish everyone on @USAbasketball good luck today. Bring home the gold! Wish I could be out there with you all #teamusa #olympics" - Derrick Rose's first tweet
