Face it: Your dog gets better snacks at a sidewalk-cafe brunch in Chicago than you can expect flying economy on most U.S. carriers.
Except, apparently, Continental Airlines. That was the sole U.S. carrier mentioned among the best in terms of airline food. I'm going to have to try Continental one of these days.
United, American and US Airways also were cited for having the least comfortable economy-class seats and the rudest flight attendants. Among the carriers with the most polite attendants was Southwest. Really? Some of those uber-efficient Southwest attendants remind me of drill sergeants.
