On Thursday, a Chicago City Council subcommittee voted to advance a proposed ordinance to regulate Chicago food trucks to the City Council for a full vote at the July 25 meeting. Though the ordinance would allow trucks to cook on board, it would restrict them from parking within 200 feet of a brick-and-mortar restaurant.
