Turner Classic Movies on Tuesday debuted its annual annual "TCM Remembers" video tribute to entertainment figures who passed away in the last year.

The 2013 tribute includes Chicago Sun-Times film critic Roger Ebert and Chicago actor Dennis Farina among other actors and behind-the-scenes folks. Among the actors remembered are Karen Black, Eileen Brennan, Harry Carey Jr., Deanna Durbin, Charles Durning, Annette Funicello, James Gandolfini, Jack Klugman, Eleanor Parker, Jean Stapleton, Esther Williams, Jonathan Winters and others. Celebrated figures from behind the camera include producer special effects master Ray Harryhausen, writer/producer Elmore Leonard, writer Richard Matheson, director/stunt coordinator Hal Needham, Japanese filmmaker Nagisa Oshima, writer/director/producer Michael Winner, director/screenwriter Bryan Forbes and screenwriters Fay Kanin and Ruth Prawer Jhabvala, among several others. Film critic Stanley Kauffman is included along with Ebert.

The song is "In the Embers" by Sleeping At Last, a project created by singer Ryan O'Neal. The location backdrop is The Lyric Fine Arts Theatre in Birmingham, Ala.
