Talk to the Han: Dancing to 'Star Wars Kinect'
What would happen if "Star Wars" had fewer lightsaber battles and more dance-offs? "Star Wars Kinect," a new video game released this week for Xbox 360, finally answers that question. The game features a "Galactic Dance-Off" mode in which a player mimics the choreography of a character from the beloved sci-fi films as he or she busts a move to pop songs that have been reworked to include "Star Wars"-centric lyrics. A remix of Jason Derulo's "Ridin' Solo" is called "I'm Han Solo," while an animated Harrison Ford doppelganger frolics like an overexcited teenager on prom night. Some hard-core "Star Wars" fans have taken to the Internet to complain that watching Stormtroopers gyrate to a Village People cover is "ruining their childhood," but are the nerds overreacting? RedEye investigates.
