"My ultimate dream is to move to Jersey, find a nice, juiced, hot tanned guy and live my life," Snooki, aka Nicole Polizzi, said in the very first episode of the MTV reality series.
The self-proclaimed guidette has found her match in Jionni LaValle and her best friend in roomie Jenni "JWoww" Farley, with whom she will star in "Snooki & JWoww," a spinoff premiering at 9 p.m. Thursday. In the first episode, the two rehash the past, including how they became besties and how they met their boyfriends.
"It's basically just me and Jenni on an everyday basis and everyday life and being best friends and dealing with normal problems that everybody has," Snooki said in a phone interview with RedEye. "Hopefully a lot of people can relate to us."
Expect to see guy drama, bickering and the BFFs being their regular "goofball" selves, they said. Unlike the crowded living arrangements on "Shore," Snooki and JWoww get a place in Jersey City just for the two of them.
Other major differences? Snooki won't get falling down drunk and fans can forget fist pumps. It's all about the baby bump.
"It's crazy, but I'm totally ready to take the challenge. I'm not really scared at all," said Snooki, who found out after this interview that she is expecting a boy. "I'm just very excited. I can't wait to see my kid already and take care of him or her. I think I'll be really good as a mom."
Snooki, now six months pregnant, is eating healthy and avoiding caffeine but giving in to her cravings for pineapple and Italian ice. Even though she learned she was pregnant about a month-and-a-half before "Snooki & JWoww" filming began, she reveals it JWoww on the new show.
"I really thought I was getting punked," JWoww said. "I didn't believe it. I couldn't believe it. But then thinking about it, it's like this is what the girl's wanted since the beginning."
JWoww says that despite all the pundits questioning whether Snooki will be a good mother and cut out partying, she believes her friend will "be one of the best mothers I do know,"
"The day she found out she was pregnant is the day she cut everything bad out of her life," JWoww said. "I just know she's beyond excited to have this child. No criticism is going to stop her and she's going to prove everybody wrong."
Lest you think Snooki's baby drama is the only part of "Snooki & JWoww," the series also shows the continuing ups and downs of the two-year relationship between JWoww and her boyfriend, Roger.
Snooki says she and her roomie switch the roles we've come to know them for in "Jersey Shore" in the new series, with Snooki becoming more responsible and JWoww letting loose.
