Well, squirrelfriends, boyfriends and other fans of"RuPaul's Drag Race,"there's both good news and bad news about the upcoming all-stars season of the cult hit show on Logo.
The bad news?
There will be only six, one-hour episodes of "RuPaul's All Stars Drag Race," not including the behind-the-scenes-drama "Untucked!" that follows the main show. For devoted "Drag Race" fans, those six episodes will fly by.
The good news, though, is that there's a slate of guest judges including Beth Ditto, Janice Dickinson, Wendi McLendon-Covey (from "Bridesmaids") and Rosie Perez. They'll join the normal judging panel of Ru, Santino Rice and Michelle Visage.
There's also a hint that "All Stars" might become a separate show of its own. In Logo's release to the media, it calls the show "the perfect new franchise" and takes pains to name the 12 contestants joining "this season." So, desperately unhappy Ongina and Willam fans, it's entirely possible there will be another shot at redemption for your favorite queens.
In addition, the first episode on Oct. 22 will be a "Rupersized" episode with 10 extra minutes. Here's a full list of the cast and celebrity guest judges:
