THE NIGHT BEFORE:
Saint-Sylvestre
Ring in the New Year with cognac and bubbles
1 ounce Landy VS cognac
1/2 ounce apricot liqueur
3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
1 dash absinthe
1/4 ounce simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water, boiled)
1 bottle sparkling wine
Lemon zest
Shake cognac, absinthe, lemon juice, simple syrup and apricot liqueur and double-strain into a champagne flute. Top off with sparkling wine and some lemon zest.

THE MORNING AFTER:
Real Talk Redux
A classic hangover cure, geared towards refreshment
1 ounce Martin Miller's gin
1/4 ounce Aperol
1 dash absinthe
2 ounces fresh  grapefruit juice
1 bottle sparkling wine
