Wonder no more: This morning Ravinia announced its 2013 calendar, populated with return appearances by—let’s call them “established”--artists like Sting, Sheryl Crow, Gipsy Kings.
As for highlights among the first-time Ravinia acts? Here you go, in chronological order. (Public online ticket sales begin 5 a.m. April 25.)
Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings
8 p.m. June 25. $22-$55.
The powerful soul outfit opens for returning Ravinia performer James Hunter, who has his work cut out for him not to be upstaged.
Darius Rucker, Rodney Atkins, Jana Kramer.
7 p.m. June 28. $33-$85.
Hey, if you like country music, you could do worse.
