Hot off the Grammys (and their extremely questionable Best New Artist win), Fun will headline the opening night of this summer’s Taste of Chicago (July 10-14) in Grant Park, fest organizers announced Monday morning.
The group, whose eagerness to write hits detracts from the quality of most of the sometimes-catchy material on breakout album “Some Nights,” will perform at the Petrillo Music Shell after California indie rockers Delta Spirit, who have appeared at approximately 20 recent Lollapaloozas.
