Chicago bands at SXSW 2012

Official, non-official, who cares?

Dozens of Chicago bands are making the trek down to Austin, Texas, to play both official showcases and just-for-the-hell-of-it sets at SXSW, and we gathered them up in a tidy package for you. RedEye will be following a few of these acts around town throughout the festival--check back at redeyechicago.com/sxsw for updates, photos, videos and more.

Don't see your SXSW-bound band listed here? We'll be updating and adding bands up until the fest: Leave info in the comments or tweet us at @redeyechimusic.
