Chance the Rapper canceled a Sunday gig at the Coachella music fest after falling ill, according to his official Twitter.

The Chicago MC was set to play the main stage at 3:10 p.m. during the second weekend of the festival in Indio, Calif., according to several sources. Just hours before the scheduled performance, his management released a statement on Twitter informing fans that he had been hospitalized.

"On behalf of @chancetherapper and our entire team- We sincerely regret to have to cancel our 2nd weekend at coachella," read the Tweet signed CTR MGMT.

His team did not elaborate on the illness, but said in later tweets he is expected to make a full recovery.

A photo posted to his Instagram account and later deleted still was visible on Twitter, showing the 21-year-old in a hospital bed wearing his Coachella wristbands with the caption, "Pray for my boy chance."
